I co-created and produced a children’s pilot about empathy, self-expression, and joy. We wanted a show where kids could talk about how they feel, including when they don’t quite have the words yet.

My contribution: visual concept, creative direction, and sound design for the segment, as part of co-creating and producing the pilot.

to the pilot.

I co-created and produced the pilot in 2021. I raised more than $20,000, managed the budget and schedule, and assembled and led roughly 30 collaborators. We took it from an idea to a finished pilot.

The pilot also includes live-action conversations and activities. Our host, Emily, asks her friends what they do with all their feelings. If I Were an Emotion, I Would Be the Ocean is one part of that bigger conversation.
